E-journals in science: a Hungarian example

We discuss the features and benefits of electronic journals in the field of science.

The e-version of a small Hungarian journal: the Information Bulletin on Variable Stars is introduced. New features of this journal are presented: e-tables and a web-based manuscript preparation and submission tool. Some possible trends of the future are mentioned too.
