At universities and secondary schools, there are more and more courses on how to make web pages, at which the learners get a big amount of information on technical issues in detail that helps the web page makers in constructing complex, multifunctional web pages. Is it enough for making well-usable web pages? Do the teachers emphasize that the easy-of-use needs the data be in well-arranged forms and have an appropriate layout? Can the web page makers use the typographical rules and traditions in DTP? Are the typographical rules dispensable? Is the acquaintance with technical issues enough? The aim of this paper is to find out the answers for these questions and to shows a method on how to teach forming web pages or other types of documents. This method includes a course in whose framework the learners are able to acquire at least the basics of the knowledge and skills for give an aesthetic layout to their documents.
