University professors,
teaching methods, library services in Hungary
(The experiences of a survey
based on questionnaire)
The introduction shortly examines the issue of
scientific communication and its changes, with special emphasis on the analysis
of the presently available equipment and content. The presentation focuses on
the results gained through processing and studying the answers to the
questionnaire, and discusses the following three main points:
1.
The
university professors’ accesses to ICT from the workplaces and/or from home,
the frequency of the Internet usage, the level of computer literacy. The used
applications and the environment: the information profile of the lecturers.
2.
The
technological modernisation of university teaching, the use of the ICT in the
teaching communication.
3.
The
academic and research libraries’ services role in the professors’ information
search and retrieval usage.
